Review and update ITP inspection items in the detail lens

Use the ITP detail lens to review inspection items for a component and update their status while keeping the record in sync across the workspace.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the component’s ITP detail lens​

From the component workspace, open the ITP detail lens to see the record header and linked component, package or template.

Step 2: Review inspection items and acceptance criteria​

Scroll through the checklist of inspection items, reviewing each item’s acceptance criteria, hold point type and whether it is marked as critical.

Step 3: Update the status of an inspection item​

For an individual inspection item, change its status to reflect current progress; the item’s ITP record is updated and the lens automatically refreshes.

Step 4: Confirm status is consistent with the component detail tab​

Switch to the component detail tab to confirm that the same ITP item shows the updated status, ensuring a single source of truth across the interface.
