Manage ITP hold point sign-off from the field

Use the ITP runner to review hold point items, record outcomes, and manage RAMS sign-off so site work can continue safely and compliantly.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the ITP item that requires sign-off​

Navigate to the ITP runner and select the relevant hold point item (for example, a concrete pour release) so you can review its details and current status.

On the item step, check the hold point title, status, and any requirements such as photos or signatures before work can proceed.

Step 3: Choose the inspection result for the hold point​

Select an appropriate result for the hold point (such as accepted or rejected); until a result is chosen, the Save Result button remains disabled with a clear message explaining what is missing.

Step 4: Understand why saving is unavailable​

If you have not yet chosen a result, note the on-screen hint explaining that you must choose a result before the action to save can be used, so the button is never silently greyed out.

Step 5: Access the RAMS sign-off page from the QR code​

Scan the RAMS sign-off QR code on site to open a dedicated RAMS landing page in your browser, ensuring you always arrive on a real, purpose-built page instead of a generic loader.

Step 6: Open the operative sign-in form​

From the RAMS landing page, continue to the ITP sign-in screen where the operative will enter their mobile number as part of the sign-off process.

Step 7: Start entering the operative’s mobile number​

Begin typing the operative’s mobile number into the field; the Continue button stays disabled until enough information is provided, helping to prevent incomplete submissions.

Step 8: Check why Continue is disabled​

As soon as the operative starts typing but the number is still incomplete, read the hint that appears next to the disabled Continue button explaining why it cannot yet be used.

Step 9: Capture the operative’s signature​

Ask the operative to provide their signature using the on-screen signature pad, which is required before the system will allow the hold point to be cleared.

Step 10: Confirm that a hold point cannot be cleared without a signature​

Attempting to clear the hold point without a valid signature keeps the action disabled with a clear explanation, ensuring both the user interface and service logic block unsigned approvals.
