Manage ITP package generation

Assign ITP templates to packages and generate ITPs based on each package’s current status.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Review package ITP statuses​

Open the ITP package generation panel to see a list of packages with their references, titles, and current ITP status, including whether a template is assigned or the package is fully issued.

Step 2: Assign an ITP template to an untemplated package​

For any package without an ITP template, use the template picker to select an appropriate ITP template so the package is ready for ITP generation.

Step 3: Generate ITPs for templated packages with outstanding components​

For packages that already have an ITP template and still have outstanding components, trigger ITP generation so inspection and test plans are created for those components.

Step 4: Confirm fully issued packages​

Identify packages marked as fully issued so you know no further ITP generation is required for those packages.
