Add a new project
Create a new project, choose its current phase, and optionally apply a predefined framework with guided setup to speed up configuration.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Add Project modal
From the projects area, select the option to add a new project to open the Add Project modal, which shows fields for the project name, phase, and optional framework settings.

Step 2: Enter the project name
In the Name field, type a clear and recognisable name for your project so it can be easily identified later.

Step 3: Select the current project phase
Use the Phase dropdown to choose the option that best matches your project’s current stage, such as Initiation / Feasibility, Construction, or Operation & Maintenance.

Step 4: Choose whether to use a framework
In the framework section, select a predefined framework from the dropdown to apply standard defaults to your project, or choose None if you prefer to start without preset configurations.

Step 5: Review the framework preview
After selecting a framework, wait for the preview to load and review the summary of default settings and structure that will be applied to your project.

Step 6: Enable or disable guided setup
Use the Guided setup switch to decide whether to be walked through additional configuration steps after the project is created, based on the selected framework.

Step 7: Refresh available frameworks (optional)
If the frameworks list appears outdated or an error is shown, select the refresh option to reload the available frameworks from the server.

Step 8: Create or skip project setup
Select Create to add the project with the chosen settings, or, if available, choose the skip option to bypass framework-based configuration and proceed with a minimal project setup.

Step 9: Cancel without saving (optional)
If you decide not to proceed, use the Cancel button to close the modal without creating a new project or saving any changes.
