Select a Viewpoint project from your CDE connection
Use the Viewpoint project selector to browse your connected CDE structure and choose the correct project to link to this workspace.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Viewpoint project selector
From the Viewpoint settings area, open the project selector so you can browse projects and folders for the chosen CDE connection.

Step 2: Review connection and project list
Check that the correct CDE connection is shown and wait for the list of available enterprises, sites, folders and projects to load.

Step 3: Navigate using folders and sites
Click on a site or folder row, or its chevron icon, to move deeper into the CDE structure and reveal the projects and subfolders it contains.

Step 4: Use breadcrumbs to move back
Use the breadcrumb trail at the top (starting from Home and enterprise) to quickly move back up to a higher level in the CDE hierarchy.

Step 5: Filter projects with search
Type part of a project or folder name into the search box to filter the current list and quickly find the item you need.

Step 6: Inspect project details
Review the icons, type labels (such as Site, Folder or Project) and any status indicators to confirm you have found the correct project.

Step 7: Select the required project
Click on the project row (not a folder or site) to select it; the row will highlight to show it is chosen and will be prepared for linking.

Step 8: Confirm or cancel your selection
Confirm your chosen project to apply it to the current workspace, or use the cancel or back option to close the selector without making changes.
