Select a Viewpoint project from your CDE connection

Use the Viewpoint project selector to browse your connected CDE structure and choose the correct project to link to this workspace.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Viewpoint project selector

From the Viewpoint settings area, open the project selector so you can browse projects and folders for the chosen CDE connection.

Step 2: Review connection and project list

Check that the correct CDE connection is shown and wait for the list of available enterprises, sites, folders and projects to load.

Step 3: Navigate using folders and sites

Click on a site or folder row, or its chevron icon, to move deeper into the CDE structure and reveal the projects and subfolders it contains.

Step 4: Use breadcrumbs to move back

Use the breadcrumb trail at the top (starting from Home and enterprise) to quickly move back up to a higher level in the CDE hierarchy.

Type part of a project or folder name into the search box to filter the current list and quickly find the item you need.

Step 6: Inspect project details

Review the icons, type labels (such as Site, Folder or Project) and any status indicators to confirm you have found the correct project.

Step 7: Select the required project

Click on the project row (not a folder or site) to select it; the row will highlight to show it is chosen and will be prepared for linking.

Step 8: Confirm or cancel your selection

Confirm your chosen project to apply it to the current workspace, or use the cancel or back option to close the selector without making changes.
