Compose generated document content

Use the compose surface to draft, edit, and enrich AI-generated document content, including adding supporting documents and AI reports.

Steps

Step 1: Open the generated document in compose mode

Navigate to the generated document and switch it into compose mode so the read-only view is replaced with the editable composition surface.

Use the rich text editor to review the AI-generated content and make free-text edits where needed to match your project requirements.

Step 3: Attach reference documents via the picker

Open the document picker to search for and attach relevant project or register documents that should inform or support the composed content.

Step 4: Generate AI-powered sections using an agent task

Launch an AI agent task from the compose view to automatically generate or update sections of the document, then confirm when the AI output is ready to apply.

Step 5: Create a quick report from a document section

From a specific section of the composed content, open the quick report modal to create a focused report with preset tags that can be reused elsewhere.

Step 6: Preview document pages during composition

Use the page preview to step through each page of the generated document and confirm that layout, pagination, and composed content appear as expected.

Step 7: Save the composed document with your changes

Save the document to persist your free-text edits, applied AI outputs, and linked documents, ensuring the composed version becomes the new source of truth.
