Review and manage document details in split view
Use the split-view document detail page to review content, track versions, manage comments and trigger document actions.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the split-view document detail
From the document list, select a document to open its split-view detail layout, showing a mini document list on the left and full details on the right.

Step 2: Navigate between documents in the left pane
Use the mini document list in the left pane to move quickly between related documents without leaving the detail view.

Step 3: Review document status and source information
In the right pane header, review the document title, source badges, and status badge to understand the document’s origin and current processing state.

Step 4: Switch between detail tabs
Use the tabs in the right pane to move between Content, Connections, Versions, and Comments, depending on the information you need.

Step 5: View and read the document content
In the Content tab, read the processed document content, including any formatted text and references that have been converted from markdown or HTML.

Step 6: Inspect document connections
Open the Connections tab to review how this document relates to other documents, reports, or workflows within the project.

Step 7: Review the document version history
Use the Versions tab to inspect the revision chain, see how the document has changed over time, and understand which version you are currently viewing.

Step 8: Read existing comments
In the Comments tab, review all existing comments linked to this document, including who made each comment and when.

Step 9: Add a new comment
Type your feedback or questions into the comment box in the Comments tab and submit it to create a new comment on the document.

Step 10: Edit document tags
Use the tags editor to add, remove, or update tags on the document so it can be grouped and found more easily.

Step 11: Trigger document reprocessing
Use the reprocess action to request that the system re-analyse or re-extract information from the document when updates or corrections are needed.

Step 12: Export the document report
Use the export option to download the current document report in your chosen format, such as PDF, for sharing or offline review.

Step 13: Delete an obsolete report
Use the delete report action to remove outdated or incorrect reports associated with the document, keeping the workspace tidy.

Step 14: Move to the previous or next document
Use the previous and next navigation controls in the header to step through documents in sequence without returning to the main list.

Step 15: Adjust the split-view layout
Use the maximise or minimise controls to focus on either the document content or the navigation pane, depending on your current task.
