Preview document pages
Use the document viewer to load a PDF preview, check the page count, and confirm that a rendition is available for review.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the document preview
Navigate to the document you want to review and open its preview; the viewer starts loading a fresh rendition in the background.

Step 2: Confirm the preview is loading
Observe the loading state in the viewer while the system fetches a secure view URL and prepares the PDF rendition.

Step 3: Review the document pages
Once loading completes, review the rendered PDF pages and verify the reported page count matches your expectations.

Step 4: Rely on a known page count while loading
If a page count was already recorded, use that number for planning or discussion even while the new preview is still loading.

Step 5: Identify when no preview is available
If the system cannot generate a view URL, use the clear error message to understand that no preview is available and choose an alternative action such as downloading the file.

Step 6: Close the preview safely
When you close or navigate away from the preview, the system automatically cleans up the temporary viewer link so that no unnecessary browser resources are held.
