Review and manage unified project documents

Use the unified documents table to review, sort, and manage all project documents from different sources in one place.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the unified documents table

Navigate to the documents section of your project to view the unified documents table, which lists all available documents from connected sources in a single view.

Step 2: Review document details in the table

Scan the table columns to review each document's title or reference, source system, type, category, status, revision, author, and last updated date, using the file icon and badges to quickly understand context.

Step 3: Sort documents by key fields

Click a column header such as "Title / Reference", "Source", "Type", "Category", "Status", "Author", or "Updated at" to sort documents; click again to toggle between ascending and descending order and reveal the current sort direction.

Step 4: Navigate between pages of documents

Use the pagination controls below the table to move to the previous or next page, and adjust the page size if available to show more or fewer documents per page.

Step 5: Identify processing and status information

Use the status badges and processing indicators in the "Status" column to see which documents are still being processed, which are ready, and which may require attention due to errors or changes.

Step 6: Open a document from the table

Click a document row to open it in the detail panel or viewer, highlighting the active document in the table so you can easily see which item you are currently reviewing.

Step 7: Compare document changes when available

When a document has comparison information available, use the comparison chip or marker in the row to open the changes view and review differences between versions.

Step 8: Manage regenerated and deleted documents

For generated or soft-deleted documents, use the contextual actions in the row to trigger regeneration or restore a deleted document when those options are available to your role.
