Review bulk revision matches before upload
Confirm which newly uploaded documents are updates to existing files, which are new, and prepare them for upload without changing anything yet.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the bulk revision review modal
When your upload finishes processing, review opens in a modal showing how each new document has been matched to existing project documents, grouped into likely updates and brand new files.

Step 2: Check suggested updates and confidence
In the "Looks like an update" and "Might be an update" groups, review each row’s suggested target document and the confidence label to decide whether the match looks correct.

Step 3: Retarget a document match (optional)
If enabled for your project, use the document search in the target cell to find and choose a different existing document that the upload should update instead of the system’s first suggestion.

Step 4: Clear uncertain or incorrect matches
Use the clear controls to remove individual matches, clear all "Might be an update" matches, or clear every match so those uploads are treated as brand new documents.

Step 5: Review IU usage and credit options
Check the information banner for how many IU credits the batch will use, see any shortfall, and follow the link to top up credits if that option is available.

Step 6: Confirm and upload your decisions
Once you are happy with which documents are updates and which are new, press Upload to apply your decisions; nothing is changed until you confirm.

Step 7: Close and resume later without losing work
If you close the modal with X, Escape or Cancel, your revision decisions are saved and will be restored when you reopen the bulk revision review.
