Review a register block card

Review the contents, filters and data snapshot of a register block so you understand what information it will show in your document.

Steps

Step 1: Open the register section in the document composer

In the document composer, scroll to the registers area where your register blocks are listed as cards.

Step 2: Identify the register source and layout

On the register block card, check the header to see the register source label (for example Programme, Documents or People and companies) and confirm the layout style being used.

Step 3: Check applied filters

In the card body, review the list of filter summaries to see which conditions (such as statuses, dates or categories) are applied to this register block.

Step 4: Review grouped data snapshot

Look at the preview table or grouped rows on the card to see a snapshot of columns, grouped values and any empty-state message that will appear in the final document.

Step 5: Confirm the register block suits your reporting needs

Use the source, filters and snapshot information on the card to decide whether this register block gives the right view of your project data for the document you are composing.
