View document thumbnails and fallback tiles

Review documents in a unified table where each row shows either a thumbnail image or a compact coloured fallback tile with an icon.

Steps

Step 1: Open the unified documents table

Navigate to the Documents section of the application to open the unified documents table, where all available documents are listed in rows.

Step 2: Scan document rows and identify thumbnails

Scroll through the table to review each document row and look at the thumbnail column, where documents with available preview images display a thumbnail.

Step 3: Recognise fallback tiles where no thumbnail is available

For any document without a thumbnail image, observe the compact source-coloured tile with a type-specific icon that appears in the thumbnail column so you can still visually distinguish document types.

Step 4: Use visual cues to understand document source and type

Use the colour and icon on each fallback tile, alongside the document title and reference, to quickly understand the document’s source and type when thumbnails are missing.
