Respond to usage quota warnings
Use the global quota warning banner to understand your current usage, avoid interruptions, and choose whether to switch models or top up credits.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Notice the global quota warning banner
When your project is close to its usage limit, a warning banner appears fixed at the top of every page, summarising the issue and any impact on your work.

Step 2: Review the recommended no-cost actions
Read the message and any suggested alternative actions in the banner, such as routes or workflows that remain available without additional cost.

Step 3: Top up your project credits
Select the option to top up, which opens the billing settings with credit purchase options expanded so you can quickly add more usage capacity.

Step 4: Switch to a different usage model
Choose the option to switch model to open the usage and billing page for your project, where you can adjust to a more suitable model if available.

Step 5: Dismiss the quota warning
If you understand the warning and do not need to act immediately, dismiss the banner so it no longer appears at the top of the application.
