Manage scoped usage budgets
Configure and maintain per-project and per-person usage budgets with alerts and live spend status.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Scoped Budgets panel
Navigate to the Usage or Budgets section of the administration area and open the Scoped Budgets tab to view all existing project and person budgets with their live spend status.

Step 2: Review existing budgets and their status
Scan the list of scoped budgets to see each budget's owner, scope (project or person), configured cap, thresholds, and a live gauge showing current spend against the cap, along with any warnings or alerts.

Step 3: Create a new scoped budget
Select the button to add a new budget, then in the form choose a scope type (such as project or person), pick the relevant project or member from the list, set the budget amount and any threshold alerts, assign an owner, and save to create the budget.

Step 4: Edit an existing budget
From the budgets list, choose a budget to edit, adjust the scope, cap amount, thresholds, or delegated owner in the form as required, and save your changes to update the live configuration.

Step 5: Enable or disable a budget
Use the enable or disable control on a budget row to temporarily turn a scoped budget on or off, allowing you to pause enforcement without deleting the configuration.

Step 6: Delete a budget
Select the delete option for a budget you no longer need, review the confirmation dialog to ensure you understand the impact, and confirm deletion to permanently remove the budget.
