Managing Intelligence Unit usage with quota warnings
Use the quota warning panel to understand when you are running low on Intelligence Units and choose between buying more credits or using a no-cost review route.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Notice a low or exhausted Intelligence Unit warning
When your Intelligence Units are low or exhausted, a quota warning appears showing how many IU credits remain and prompting you to take action.

Step 2: Review the no-cost alternative review option
If your current workflow supports it, the warning shows an additional option such as "Review it yourself instead" explaining that this manual route uses no IU credits.

Step 3: Choose the no-cost route when appropriate
Select the alternative option to record a pass or fail manually on the RAMS without consuming any IU credits, helping you stay within your quota.

Step 4: Buy more Intelligence Units if you need additional capacity
If you prefer to continue using automated checks, use the "Buy more Intelligence Units" button in the same warning panel to top up your IU credits.

Step 5: Understand when no alternative is available
In contexts where a manual or free route is not supported, the warning only offers the top-up option, so you can plan to purchase more IU as needed.
