Review and export material schedules

Review detected materials on a drawing, refine item details, and export the schedule for use in your project documentation.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the material schedule panel

Open the material schedule panel from the relevant drawing so you can see the automatically generated list of materials and quantities for that sheet.

Step 2: Review grouped material quantities

Browse through the grouped material schedule items by category, checking each row for description, quantity, units, and confidence to confirm they match the drawing.

Step 3: Inspect inclusions and exclusions

Review both included items and excluded items, using the exclusion reason labels to understand why particular materials are not counted in the schedule.

Step 4: Highlight items on the drawing

Select a schedule item to highlight its corresponding location on the drawing so you can visually verify that the measurement and classification are correct.

Step 5: Adjust measurement geometry

Use the geometry overlay editor to refine or correct the measurement geometry for a selected item when the detected shape does not fully match the drawing.

Step 6: Show or hide drawing overlays

Toggle the visibility of measurement overlays on the drawing to focus either on the underlying design or on the detected material extents as needed.

Step 7: Check item status and confidence

Review the status labels such as Confirmed, Provisional, or TBC, along with formatted confidence values, to decide which items need further review or clarification.

Step 8: Copy the schedule as CSV

Use the copy action to place the current material schedule in CSV format on your clipboard, ready to paste into spreadsheets or reports.

Step 9: Download the schedule as CSV

Download the material schedule as a CSV file using the download option, saving it with a sanitised filename that includes drawing and revision details.

Step 10: Rerun the material schedule analysis

Run the material schedule analysis again when the underlying drawing or detection model has changed, then wait for the status output message to confirm completion.
