Understand asset recovery messages in shared documents
Learn what the asset recovery banner means in shared documents and how to respond when images fail to load or a share link is no longer available.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Notice the asset recovery banner while viewing a shared document
When there is an issue with images or the share link, a banner appears at the top of the shared document, drawing your attention to the current status.

Step 2: Recognise when images are being refreshed
If the banner shows a spinning icon with the message "Refreshing images in this document.", the system is automatically trying to reload missing images and you do not need to take any action.

Step 3: Identify when some images could not be loaded
If you see a warning banner stating that some images could not be loaded and suggesting you reload the page, refresh your browser to give the document another chance to load all images.

Step 4: Understand when a share link has expired or been withdrawn
If the banner explains that the share link has expired or been withdrawn, you can no longer access updated content and should contact the person who sent the link to request a new one.
