Review drawing changes using the comparison viewer
Use the comparison viewer to inspect differences between drawing revisions, adjust how they are displayed, and focus on highlighted changes.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the drawing comparison viewer
Open the drawing comparison view from the relevant drawing or revision so that the original and updated drawings load side by side for review.

Step 2: Choose a comparison view mode
Use the view mode controls to switch between slider, side-by-side, and overlay modes to see changes in the way that best suits your review.

Step 3: Use the slider to compare revisions
In slider mode, drag the vertical handle left or right over the drawings to reveal more of the original or updated revision and visually compare changes.

Step 4: Toggle change boxes on or off
Use the visibility control to show or hide the bounding boxes that highlight detected changes on the drawing, depending on the level of detail you need.

Step 5: Focus on a highlighted change
When a specific change is highlighted, scroll or pan the viewer so that the corresponding box is in view and review the affected area in detail.

Step 6: Zoom and pan the overlay view
In overlay mode, use the zoom controls to enlarge or reduce the drawing and drag to pan around so you can closely inspect particular areas.

Step 7: Reset the overlay position
If you have zoomed or panned extensively, use the reset control to return the overlay to its original centred position and default zoom level.

Step 8: Refresh the comparison images if they fail to load
If either drawing fails to load or shows an error, use the refresh option to request new image links and reload the comparison without leaving the viewer.
