Configure AI data assistant task inputs

Configure and submit input fields so an AI agent can run a data task for your project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the AI data assistant for your project

From your project workspace, navigate to the AI data assistant panel to see the available agent task and its input form.

Step 2: Review the task details

Check the task name, description and any notes so you understand what the AI agent will do with your project data.

Step 3: Fill in required text and number fields

Complete any required text, number or selection fields shown in the form, following the field labels and helper text.

Step 4: Pick dates and times if requested

Use the date or date-time pickers to choose relevant timeframes, such as reporting periods or deadlines for the AI task.

Step 5: Upload supporting files

Drag and drop files into the upload area or click to browse and attach documents or data files that the AI agent should use.

Step 6: Remove or replace uploaded files

If you added the wrong file, use the remove option next to the file name and upload the correct version before submitting.

Step 7: Confirm pre-filled project and agent context

Review any pre-filled fields that use project, organisation or agent context and adjust them only if necessary.

Step 8: Submit the AI data task

Select the submit button to send your inputs to the AI agent; a loading indicator will show while the task is being created.

Step 9: Review confirmation and status

After submission, check the confirmation message or status indicator to ensure the AI data task was created successfully.
