View and verify a shared project document

Use a public link to review a shared project document, download it if needed, and verify it when appropriate.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Follow the shared public link in your browser to open the document page. The page shows the document title, status, basic project and organisation details, and any access notes or restrictions set by the sender.

Step 2: Review document details and metadata

Check the document’s filename, type, reference, revision, and status in the header area. Use the displayed project name, project code, organisation name and logo, and any tags or categories to confirm you are looking at the correct document.

Step 3: Preview the document contents

Scroll down to view the inline document preview. If the document is a report or formatted text, the content is rendered for on-screen reading; if it is an image-based document, a thumbnail or preview image is shown so you can quickly assess its contents.

Step 4: Open the full-size image preview

If the document has an image preview, select the zoom or full-view control (for example, an eye or zoom icon) to open the full-size image in an overlay. Use this view to inspect details more closely before deciding whether to download or verify the document.

Step 5: Download the original document file

Click the Download button (with a download icon) to save the original document file to your computer. Your browser will either download the file directly from the secure link or prompt you to choose a save location.

Step 6: Verify the document if you approve it

When you are satisfied that the document is correct and complete, use the Verify action (for example, a Verify button or similar control) to mark the document as verified. The page confirms the verification and may show a success message indicating the document has been accepted.
