Manage dynamic agent tasks
Use the Dynamic Agent Tasks panel to create, configure, and launch reusable tasks for an AI agent within a selected project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Dynamic Agent Tasks panel
Navigate to the agent workspace and open the Dynamic Agent Tasks panel for the agent you want to configure; the panel lists all existing tasks associated with that agent.

Step 2: Search for an existing task
Use the search box at the top of the panel to filter the list of tasks by name or description, helping you quickly locate the task you want to run or edit.

Step 3: Review task details and cost
Select a task in the list to view its key details, including a short description and any displayed IU cost badge that indicates the estimated resource usage for running the task.

Step 4: Create a new task
Click the plus button to open the task creator dialog, then define the task’s name, description, and configuration before saving it so it appears in the task list.

Step 5: Edit an existing task
Click the pencil icon next to a task to open it in the task builder; adjust the task configuration and inputs as needed, then save your changes to update the task.

Step 6: Duplicate an existing task
Use the duplicate icon on a task to create a copy with the same configuration; rename and adjust the duplicated task so you can reuse a proven setup with minimal changes.

Step 7: Provide task input values
When you select a task to run, complete the form fields shown, such as text inputs, selectable options, document pickers, report pickers, or file uploads, so the agent has all necessary information.

Step 8: Upload supporting files
For file upload fields, drag and drop files into the upload area or use the upload button to select files from your computer; remove or clear files if you add the wrong ones.

Step 9: Choose documents from the project
In document picker fields, open the document selector, search or browse available project documents, and select one or more documents to associate with the task.

Step 10: Select reports to use as inputs
In report picker fields, open the report selector to browse existing project reports, then choose the relevant reports that the agent should reference when executing the task.

Step 11: Start the task execution
After filling in all required inputs, click the run or start button; the panel will show a loading indicator while the backend execution starts and the agent begins processing the task.

Step 12: Monitor task status and outcomes
Watch the status indicators and any success or error icons in the panel; if the task completes successfully, review any links to generated reports or documents, or address errors as indicated by warning messages.
