Configure an agent trigger
Configure when an autonomous agent should run automatically in response to documents, tasks, forms or comments.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the trigger detail view
From your automation or agents area, select an existing trigger to open its detail view, where you can review and adjust how it behaves.

Step 2: Review current trigger settings
Check the trigger’s name, status and summary information to confirm you are editing the correct automation for your project or workspace.

Step 3: Enter edit mode
Click the edit action to unlock the trigger configuration so you can change its event type, conditions and linked tasks or agents.

Step 4: Choose the event that activates the trigger
In the event section, pick the event that should start the automation, such as document created, task completed, form submitted or comment mention.

Step 5: Add or adjust trigger conditions
Use the filter controls to define conditions with operators like equals, contains, greater than, or in list so the trigger only runs for matching documents, tasks, forms or comments.

Step 6: Select the agent to run
In the agent selector, choose which autonomous agent should execute when the trigger conditions are met.

Step 7: Select the task schema to execute
Use the task selector to link the trigger to a specific task schema so the right automated workflow is launched when the trigger fires.

Step 8: Save or cancel your changes
Click Save to apply your updates to the trigger, or Cancel to discard any edits and return to the previous configuration.

Step 9: Return to the triggers list
Use the back control to navigate away from the detail view and return to the main triggers list or agents overview.
