Select a document reference for an agent

Use the document reference dialog to search for and select an existing document for your current project so it can be used by an agent.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the document reference dialog

From within the agent or project interface, choose the option to add or change a document reference; the document reference dialog opens as a pop-up over your current page.

Step 2: Review the initial list of documents

When the dialog opens, review the list of suggested documents, which show their titles, types, and other key details relevant to your current project.

Step 3: Search for a specific document

In the search field at the top of the dialog, type part of the document title, reference, or keywords and press Enter or use the search button to filter the results.

Step 4: Refresh the search results

If you suspect new or updated documents are available, use the refresh control in the dialog to reload the search results for the current project.

Step 5: Inspect document details

In the filtered list, review each document’s filename, title, type, and other metadata to confirm you are selecting the correct reference for your project context.

Step 6: Select the desired document reference

Click on the document you want to use; the dialog closes and the selected document reference is applied to the agent or feature you are configuring.
