Search and open tasks across agents

Use the task search command palette to quickly find task definitions and recent task executions across agents, then open the one you need.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the task search command palette

Press the keyboard shortcut or select the command palette option in the interface to open the task search window, which appears as an overlay with a search bar and results list.

Step 2: Enter a search term

Click in the search field and start typing the name, ID or keywords for the task you are looking for; matching task definitions and executions will begin to appear in the results list below as you type.

Step 3: Filter by agent and task status

Use the agent selector to limit results to a specific agent, and adjust the status filter (for example, completed, running or failed) so the list only shows executions that match your current interest.

Step 4: Review task definitions and executions

Browse the grouped results, where task definitions are listed separately from previous executions, and use the status icons and relative timestamps to understand when each execution ran and how it finished.

Step 5: Open a task definition

Select a task definition result to open that task for the chosen agent, allowing you to review or start a new execution based on that definition.

Step 6: Open a previous task execution

Select a specific task execution result to jump directly to its execution details for the relevant agent, so you can inspect its history, status and outcomes.

Step 7: Close the task search command palette

When you have finished, close the command palette using the close button or keyboard shortcut to return to your previous view.
