Create Agent Schedule

Set up a schedule to automatically run an agent at specified times (once, hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly). Optionally select a specific task or use the agent's default behavior.

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Agent Schedules

Go to the Agents section and click on the Schedules tab. This displays all existing schedules and allows you to create new ones.

Step 2: Click "Create Schedule"

Click the Create Schedule button to open the schedule creation form. This will present you with options to configure when and how your agent should run.

Step 3: Enter Schedule Details

Provide a Schedule Name (required) and an optional Description to help identify the purpose of this schedule. For example: "Daily Report Generation" or "Weekly Compliance Check".

Step 4: Select Agent

Choose the Agent you want to schedule from the dropdown. This is required. The selected agent will execute according to your configured schedule.

Step 5: Select Task (Optional)

Optionally, select a specific Task the agent should execute. If you leave this field empty, the agent will use its default task or behavior. The task selector will only show tasks that are available for the selected agent.

Step 6: Configure Task Inputs (If Applicable)

If you selected a task that requires input parameters, configure them in the Configure Task Inputs section. These values will be used each time the schedule runs. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

Step 7: Choose Frequency

Select when the agent should run: Once (specific date and time), Hourly (every hour at a specific minute), Daily (every day at a specific time), Weekly (specific days of the week), or Monthly (specific day of each month).

Step 8: Set Schedule Timing

Based on your selected frequency, configure the timing details. For daily schedules, set the time; for weekly, choose the days of the week and time; for monthly, specify the day of month (1-28) and time.

Monthly schedules use days 1-28 to avoid issues with months having fewer days

Step 9: Enable or Disable

Choose whether to enable the schedule immediately after creation by checking or unchecking the Enable schedule immediately checkbox. You can always enable or disable it later from the schedules list.

Step 10: Create the Schedule

Click the Create Schedule button to save your schedule. If enabled, the agent will start running according to your configured timing. You can view execution history and manage the schedule from the Schedules tab.
