Create or update a form template version
Use the form version builder to create a new version of a form template or update the latest version for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the form version builder
From your project’s Forms Templates area, open the template you want to work on; the Form Version Builder page loads and, if a latest version exists, its fields and settings are pre-populated for editing.

Step 2: Review or configure form fields
In the builder, add new fields, remove fields you no longer need, and adjust existing field labels, types, and validation rules so the form captures the right information.

Step 3: Adjust workflow and behaviour settings
Configure workflow options such as submission handling, on-submit tasks, and any default prefill, locked, or hidden fields to control how the form behaves for end users.

Step 4: Customise form layout and display
Update the form’s UI schema to change layout, grouping, and display options so that questions appear in a clear and logical order for respondents.

Step 5: Save or cancel your changes
When you are ready, select the option to save the form version so it is stored against the template; if you do not wish to keep your edits, choose cancel to return to the template details without saving.
