Create or update a form template version
Use the form version builder to create a new form layout or update the latest version of an existing template for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the form version builder for your template
From your project’s Forms area, open the Templates section and select the template you want to work on; then choose the option to edit or create a new version to open the form version builder page.

Step 2: Review the pre-filled form configuration
Once the builder loads, review the existing fields, workflow settings, and display options that are pre-filled from the latest version; if no version exists, you will see an empty form ready to be configured.

Step 3: Update fields and layout
Use the form builder tools to add, remove, or rearrange fields, adjust field properties, and configure any sections required so that the form matches your current process.

Step 4: Configure workflow, visibility, and defaults
Adjust workflow settings, set which fields are locked or hidden by default, and define any default pre-filled values and on-submit tasks to control how the form behaves when used.

Step 5: Enter or confirm the template name
Check the template name shown in the builder and update it if necessary so that the template can be clearly identified by your team.

Step 6: Save the new form version
When you are satisfied with the configuration, select the Save option to create a new version of the template; the system stores your changes as the latest version for that template.

Step 7: Cancel and return without saving
If you decide not to keep your changes, use the Cancel option to return to the template detail page or templates list without saving a new version.
