Manage form templates for a project

View, filter, create, and edit form templates that can be used within your project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Form Templates tab

Navigate to the project area in the application and open the tab or section labelled “Form templates” to see the list of available templates for the selected project.

Step 2: Search for a form template

Use the search box above the table to type part of the template name or keywords; the list updates to show only templates matching your search.

Step 3: Filter templates by scope, category, and tags

Use the scope drop-down (for example, All, Organisation, Project) and any available category or tag filters to narrow down the list of templates that are relevant to your current task.

Step 4: Refresh the list of templates

Click the refresh icon button to reload the template list, ensuring you see the most recent templates and any changes made by other team members.

Step 5: Create a new form template

If you are an organisation or project administrator, select the “New template” button (with the plus icon) to open the create dialog, then enter the required details and save to add a new template to the list.

Step 6: Edit an existing form template

From the template table, choose a template you are allowed to edit (depending on your role and its scope) and click its edit action to open the edit dialog, then adjust the template details and save your changes.

Step 7: Navigate into a template’s details

Click on a template row in the table to open that template’s detailed view, where you can see more information or perform further actions depending on your permissions.
