Complete or amend a workflow section
Use this dialog to review a workflow section, fill in required fields, optionally add a signature, and then complete or amend the section as required.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the workflow section dialog
From the workflow, select the relevant section to open its dialog and view the section title, description, current status, and available actions.
Step 2: Review the section details and status
Read the section title and description to understand what information is required, and check the section status to see whether it is new, in progress, completed or amended, and whether amendments are allowed.
Step 3: Fill in the form fields
Complete all visible form fields according to the on-screen instructions, noting that some fields may be locked (read-only) or hidden based on the workflow configuration.
Step 4: Upload supporting files
For any fields that require attachments, upload the relevant files so they can be stored with this workflow section.
Step 5: Provide an electronic signature (if required)
If the section requires a signature, sign using the on-screen signature pad so your completion can be verified.
Step 6: Add an amendment note (when amending)
When amending an already completed section and amendments are allowed, enter a clear amendment note explaining what has changed and why.
Step 7: Confirm public identity (for public submissions)
When completing the section as a public user, review or provide your name and email address so the submission can be attributed correctly.
Step 8: Submit the section
Submit the form to either complete the section, amend an existing completion, or submit it as a public user; if you are not authorised to complete the section, submission will be disabled and you will see a message explaining why.
Step 9: Close the dialog
After submitting or if you decide not to proceed, close the dialog to return to the main workflow view.
