View a shared form submission

Review the details of a submitted form that has been shared with you, including submission metadata, answers, attachments, and options to verify access or print a copy.

Steps

Follow the shared link you received (for example, by email) to open the public submission page in your web browser; the page will load the submission details and check what level of access is required.

Step 2: Verify your access (if requested)

If the submission is protected, enter the required email address or password and confirm when prompted so the system can verify that you are permitted to view the submission.

Step 3: Review submission overview

At the top of the page, review the key information such as the form title, project or organisation details, who completed the form, and when it was submitted.

Step 4: Read any instructions

Check the instructions or guidance text shown on the page to understand the purpose of the shared submission and how you are expected to use the information.

Step 5: Switch between form and report views

Use the available view options (for example, Form view or Report view) to toggle how the submission is displayed so you can either see answers field-by-field or in a summarised report-style layout.

Step 6: Review individual answers and sections

Scroll through the submission to review each answer, including nested or repeating sections; values that were not provided are clearly marked so you can quickly see what is missing.

Step 7: Open and download attachments

For any attachment fields, select the file links to preview or download documents and images that were submitted alongside the form responses.

Step 8: Print or save a copy

Use the print option on the page to open your browser’s print dialogue, where you can print a hard copy of the submission or save it as a PDF for your records.
