Record RAMS review reasons
Record clear reasons for accepting or rejecting a RAMS review so your decisions are transparent and easy to audit.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the RAMS review reasons panel
Navigate to the RAMS review screen and scroll to the "Why is it being accepted?" or equivalent heading, where you can record your reasons.

Step 2: Choose reasons for your decision
Under the heading, select one or more reason chips that best describe why you are accepting or rejecting the RAMS; selected reasons will appear pressed or highlighted.

Step 3: Use the correct vocabulary for accept or reject
When you are accepting, the panel shows acceptance reasons; when rejecting, it automatically switches to rejection reasons so your notes match the decision.

Step 4: Work with server-published reasons
If your organisation provides a custom list of reasons from the server, the panel replaces its built-in list so you always use the latest approved wording.

Step 5: Review override banner details
When an override is applied, review the banner showing the verdict label, score, and findings summary so your written reasons reflect the current assessment.

Step 6: Add clear review notes
Enter concise notes explaining the context and reasoning behind your choice of reasons, supporting future audits and any follow-up actions.
