Link risks to a RAMS

Connect risk and opportunity events to a RAMS from the Risk Register so they appear in the RAMS's Associated Risks and the record stays complete.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Risk Register​

Go to Events → Risk Register for your project, where risk and opportunity events are managed. Links between a RAMS and its risks are made from here.

Step 2: Open the risk or opportunity event​

Select the event you want to connect to a RAMS so its full details are shown.

Associate the event with the relevant RAMS so the two records are joined and the risk is accounted for against the assessment.

Repeat for the other risks and opportunities the RAMS should cover, so nothing relevant is left unlinked.

Step 5: Confirm on the RAMS​

Open the RAMS and check the events now appear in its Associated Risks section, where they are shown for visibility.
