Link a RAMS to the work it covers

Connect a RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) to the work package it covers, and any temporary works it relies on, so everyone can see which RAMS applies to which job.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the RAMS

Find the RAMS in the project workspace and open it.

tip

See "Find and check a RAMS" if you're not sure where to find it.

Step 2: Go to the linked items section

Go to the part of the RAMS where you manage its linked work packages and temporary works.

Connect the RAMS to the work package it covers, so the assessment is tied to the right piece of work.

Connect the RAMS to any temporary works it relies on, so the safety records are joined up.

Check the RAMS now shows its work package and temporary works, so it's clear and traceable if you're ever audited.
