Track public form usage and completion
Monitor how users open, interact with, and complete your public forms so you can understand conversion and drop-off points.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a public form from its shared link
Open the public form using its share link so that usage of this specific form is tracked with its title and workflow settings.

Step 2: Interact with form fields and actions
Ask your team to complete typical actions on the form, such as opening sections or starting file uploads, so these interactions are recorded for analysis.

Step 3: Test workflow section dialogs
If your form uses workflow sections, open a section dialog and complete fields inside it to ensure section-level engagement is captured separately.

Step 4: Submit the form to confirm successful tracking
Submit the form under normal and validation-error conditions so that both successful and blocked submissions are logged for reporting.

Step 5: Review analytics with your team
Once form interactions have been tracked, review the analytics in your reporting tools to identify drop-offs and optimise the form experience.
