Control self-service options when issuing a form

Configure whether a newly issued form can be completed via self-service and, if so, how many self-service submissions are allowed.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Issue form dialog

From your project workspace, select the option to issue a new form to open the Issue form dialog.

Step 2: Choose the form template

In the dialog, select the required form template (for example "Permit On" or "Permit Off") to load its default self-service settings.

Step 3: Review the self-service toggle

Check the self-service toggle, which is automatically set from the selected template's default and cannot be changed by version-level settings.

Step 4: Adjust the self-service cap if available

If self-service is enabled for the chosen template, review or update the self-service cap to control how many times the form can be completed via self-service.

Step 5: Issue the form with your chosen settings

Confirm and issue the form so that the instance is created with the selected self-service status and cap applied.
