Capture a typed signature

Use the signature pad in typed mode to automatically capture and store a typed name as a signature image.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the form with the signature pad​

Navigate to the form section that contains the signature pad field, where the typed signature option is available.

Step 2: Confirm a prefilled typed name​

If your name is prefilled in the typed signature field, the system automatically converts it into a signature image without any extra action from you.

Step 3: Enter your name when no value is prefilled​

If the typed name field is empty, type your full name to create a new typed signature that can then be captured as an image.

Step 4: Preserve an existing signature​

When a signature image has already been saved in the field, reviewing the form or loading a prefilled name will not overwrite the existing signature.
