Manage form field inputs in forms
Use the form field renderer to review, complete, and understand different types of questions in a form, including locked and required fields.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Review field labels and required markers
When the form loads, review each question label; required questions are clearly marked with an asterisk so you can see which answers must be provided before submission.

Step 2: Complete text and number inputs
Click into any text or number field and type your response; the form renderer applies the correct formatting automatically based on the field type.

Step 3: Tick checkboxes where needed
For checkbox questions, click the box to select or clear each option; selected checkboxes confirm that the corresponding statement applies.

Step 4: Choose from dropdown selections
For select fields, open the dropdown and pick the most appropriate option from the list so that structured choices are captured consistently.

Step 5: Understand locked pre-populated fields
When you see a field marked as locked, read the pre-filled value; these answers are provided for context and cannot be edited, but remain prominent for clarity.

Step 6: Follow section headings and guidance text
Use section headings and any markdown-formatted guidance to understand the context of grouped questions and what information is expected in each part of the form.
