Manage a dashboard widget

Learn how to configure, refresh and remove an individual widget on your PlanOps dashboard using the widget container controls.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the dashboard in edit mode​

Go to your dashboard and switch to edit mode so that widget controls, such as configure, refresh and remove, become available on each widget.

Step 2: Configure widget settings​

Select the configure option on the widget header to open its settings, then review and update the widget’s configuration, such as data source or display options, before saving your changes.

Step 3: Refresh widget data​

Use the refresh control on the widget to request up-to-date data for that widget, ensuring the content reflects the latest project information.

Step 4: Remove a widget from the dashboard​

Choose the remove option in the widget header to delete the widget from your dashboard layout, and confirm the removal if prompted.

Step 5: Duplicate or hide inherited widgets​

Where available, use the duplicate control to create a copy of an existing widget, or the hide control to hide inherited widgets while keeping them available for later use.
