Use the assistant input box

Use the assistant input box to ask questions in natural language, search tasks, or describe what support you need from the assistant.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the assistant panel

Open the assistant panel from the dashboard so the input box is visible at the bottom or in the hero area, ready for you to type a message.

Step 2: Enter your message

Click into the message field labelled "Message the assistant" and type your question, task search, or a description of what you need; the box will automatically expand as you write longer messages.

Step 3: Attach supporting files (optional)

If an attachment button is shown in the toolbar, select it to attach any relevant documents or files that will help the assistant understand your request.

Step 4: Review any helper text

Check the helper or estimate label on the left of the toolbar, if shown, to understand any indicative time, impact, or usage guidance before sending your request.

Step 5: Send your request

Select the Send button (or press Enter, depending on your keyboard settings) to submit your message; while the assistant is processing, the Send button is disabled and a spinner indicates that your request is in progress.
