Configure content blocks on a public page
Configure, reorder and customise content blocks that appear on a public-facing page in the creation wizard.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Content blocks step in the public page wizard
Navigate to the public page creation wizard and open the step labelled Content blocks to view the current list of blocks configured for the page.

Step 2: Add a new content block
Use the add block control to choose a block type, such as instructions, document download, file upload, free text, form fields, info banner or verification, and insert a new block at the end of the list.

Step 3: Set default settings for new blocks
After adding a block, review its automatically applied default configuration, such as accepted file types for uploads or default text bodies, and adjust as needed.

Step 4: Reorder content blocks
Drag and drop blocks using the vertical grip handle to change their order, ensuring the page presents information and tasks in the most helpful sequence.

Step 5: Rename and describe each block
Update the title and description fields for each block so that end users clearly understand what is required or what information is being presented.

Step 6: Configure document download blocks
For document download blocks, select which project documents are available to download so the page only exposes the files you intend to share.

Step 7: Configure file upload requirements
For file upload blocks, confirm or adjust the allowed file types and the maximum number of files to ensure users submit the correct documents.

Step 8: Configure free-text and form field inputs
For free-text and form fields blocks, define placeholders and input fields so users can provide all necessary information in a structured way.

Step 9: Add information banners and guidance
Insert info banner blocks and configure their text and style to highlight important notices or warnings for users completing the page.

Step 10: Remove blocks that are no longer needed
Use the delete control on a block to remove it from the page when it is no longer required, keeping the public page focused and concise.
