Configure workflow notifications
Use agent tasks to trigger automated actions when a workflow is submitted, accepted, rejected or resubmitted.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the workflow notifications step
In the public page creation wizard, navigate to the Workflow notifications step to see all available notification triggers for your project.

Step 2: Review available agent tasks
Browse the list of agent tasks loaded for your project to understand which automations you can attach to workflow events.

Step 3: Assign a task for form submission
Use the task picker next to the "On submit" label to search by task name, description or agent title, then select the task to run whenever a user submits the workflow.

Step 4: Assign a task for approval
Open the picker next to the "On accept" label and choose an agent task that should be triggered automatically when a submission is approved.

Step 5: Assign a task for rejection
From the "On reject" picker, search and select the task that will run when a submission is rejected, such as notifying the requester or logging the outcome.

Step 6: Assign a task for resubmission
Use the "On resubmission" picker to select the agent task that should execute when a previously rejected or updated submission is resubmitted.

Step 7: Clear a previously selected task
If you change your mind, use the clear option on a picker to remove the current task so that no automation runs for that event.

Step 8: Configure document ingestion (optional)
In the Document ingestion section, adjust how supporting documents are handled so that downstream agent tasks receive the right context.

Step 9: Save and continue the wizard
When you are satisfied with your notification settings, proceed to the next step of the public page wizard to continue configuring your workflow.
