Manage subcontractor handover uploads
Use the subcontractor upload page to request, track and receive required handover documents from subcontractors.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the subcontractor handover upload link
Open the shared handover link sent to the subcontractor to view the branded upload page showing all required items and current progress.

Step 2: Review required handover items and their status
Scroll through the page to see each required item grouped under section headings, with coloured status cards showing whether evidence is missing, submitted, accepted or needs resubmission.

Step 3: Enter subcontractor contact details
Ensure the subcontractor enters their name and email address in the contact details fields so that the submission can be verified and tracked.

Step 4: Upload evidence files for each required item
For each required item, the subcontractor drags and drops files or uses the file picker to attach documents, drawings or certificates to the correct item card.

Step 5: Respond to resubmission requests
Where an item shows as needing resubmission, the subcontractor reviews the inline reviewer notes and replaces the file with an updated version before continuing.

Step 6: Check overall submission progress
Use the progress bar at the top of the page to see how many required items have evidence attached and the overall completion percentage for the handover package.

Step 7: Save and exit the current upload session
When the subcontractor is ready, they select Save and exit to submit all files uploaded in this session so you can review them, with the option to return later if more evidence is needed.

Step 8: Complete the handover submission
Once at least one successful submission exists and all requested items are satisfied, the subcontractor can use the finish option (where enabled) to confirm that their handover evidence is complete.
