Preview document download blocks on a public page
Review how document download blocks will appear on the public page, including how each file name is displayed to end users.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the public page detail preview
Navigate to the public page’s internal detail view and open the preview area that shows all configured content blocks, including any document download sections.

Step 2: Locate the document download block
Scroll through the blocks in the preview until you find the document download block, typically labelled with its section title such as "Reference Documents".

Step 3: Confirm stored document titles are shown
In the document download block, check that each file is shown using its stored human-readable title, such as "Method Statement.pdf", rather than a technical ID.

Step 4: Check legacy documents display correctly
For any older or legacy documents without stored titles, verify that their identifiers are still displayed so that users can access the downloads even when a friendly title is not available.
