Respond to an RFI from a shared public link
Use the public RFI response page to verify access, review the drawing and question, and submit a clear written response with any supporting files.

Steps
Step 1: Open the RFI response link
Follow the shared RFI link from your email or message to open the public RFI response page in your browser, without needing a PlanOps account.

Step 2: Verify your access to the RFI
Complete the on-screen verification checks using only your keyboard or mouse so the system can confirm you are the intended recipient.

Step 3: Review the drawing and RFI question
Check the referenced drawing and read the RFI question text in full, including any deadline information shown in words.

Step 4: Download any attached documents
If supporting documents are provided, use the download control to save them locally so you can review all relevant information before responding.

Step 5: Enter your written RFI response
Type your answer into the RFI response field, ensuring your response is clear, complete, and covers any fire rating or specification details requested.

Step 6: Upload supporting files (optional)
Use the upload control to attach any relevant drawings, mark-ups, or reports that support your written response.

Step 7: Check the deadline status
Confirm how long you have left by reading the deadline text, which describes whether the RFI is due soon, due today, or overdue.

Step 8: Submit your RFI response
When you are satisfied with your answer and attachments, submit the page so the project team can review your response.
