Monitor plant status on the traffic-light board

View a live, traffic-light status board of all plant items on a project and access key follow-up actions such as defect review and register generation.

Steps

Step 1: Open the plant status board

Navigate to the Plant Status Board page for your selected project to see a live list of all plant items and their current status.

Step 2: Review plant status indicators

Scan the traffic-light statuses for each plant item (green, amber, red, pending, paused) to understand which items are checked, defective, overdue, unauthorised, or paused.

Step 3: Inspect item details and recent activity

Click a plant row to see more context, including when it was last checked, who checked it (masked when required), and any recent changes in status.

Step 4: Open and review the defect feed

Use the defect feed panel to focus on plant with current defects, understand defect severity, and track which issues still require action.

Step 5: Generate or regenerate the plant register

Use the register actions to generate or regenerate a plant register document for the current project, applying any preset or stamped filters as required.

Step 6: Preview and download the plant register

Open the register preview dialogue to review the generated register document before downloading, printing, or sharing it with your team.

Step 7: Use quick actions for selected plant

Trigger quick actions from the board, such as jumping to a plant’s detailed record, opening related forms, or starting follow-up workflows.

Step 8: Bulk print QR codes for plant items

Open the bulk QR print dialogue, select the required plant items, and generate printable QR labels to attach to equipment on site.

Step 9: Monitor live updates during stand-up meetings

Keep the board open during site coordination or stand-up meetings and watch it auto-refresh so supervisors always see the latest plant status without manual reloading.
