Manage daily plant check-in issues

Use the daily plant check-in runner to understand and respond to configuration or availability issues when operatives scan a QR code.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Confirm today’s check-in is being prepared

When a QR code is scanned and today’s check-in is still being issued, review the message stating that "Today’s check is on its way" and use the "Check again" button later to refresh once the schedule is ready.

Step 2: Identify plants with no daily check configured

If the screen shows "No daily check set up yet" for a specific plant, recognise that no daily check has been configured and that operatives cannot complete a check-in for this item today.

Step 3: Escalate missing schedules to the site team

When the "No daily check set up yet" message appears, ask operatives to show this screen to the site team so you can arrange for an appropriate daily check schedule to be configured.

Step 4: Retry after transient technical failures

If a generic error appears due to a temporary technical issue, use the available retry option to attempt loading today’s check-in again after a short pause.
