Check a plant in using a QR code

Use the public plant check-in page to guide operators through authorisation, sign-in and completing a plant check-in from a QR code.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the plant check-in from the QR code

Ask the operator to scan the QR code on the plant sticker, which opens the public plant check-in page for that specific plant and site.

Step 2: Review any connection or QR code issues

If the QR code cannot be resolved or the service is unreachable, review the on-screen message (for example, plant not found, QR rotated, off-hire, or connection problems) and decide whether to retry, replace the sticker or contact support.

Step 3: Complete site authorisation if required

When the plant requires site authorisation, guide the operator through the multi-step Site Authorisation Wizard to capture all required approvals before they proceed.

Step 4: Sign the operator in

If the operator is not already recognised, have them complete the on-screen Operator Sign-In form so their check-in is linked to their session.

Step 5: Check the plant status

When the plant is off-hire or the schedule is paused, review the read-only status screen (including any demobilised dates) so you understand why the plant cannot be checked in.

Step 6: Walk the operator through the check-in

Once authorisation and sign-in are complete and the plant is active, use the Check-In runner to guide the operator through the required checks and data capture.

Step 7: Confirm completion of the check-in

After the operator submits the form, review the Check-In Complete screen to confirm the check-in was successfully recorded and that no further action is needed.
