Use deep links to open plant checks with an automatic action

Use URL actions to open a plant’s Checks tab and automatically start scheduling or recording evidence.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the plant item from your project workspace​

Navigate to your project workspace, open the relevant plant item so that the Plant Details view appears with its tabs, including the Checks tab.

Open or share a link to the plant that includes an action query in the URL (for example ?action=set_schedule&from=plant or ?action=record_evidence&from=inspections-due) so the system knows what automatic action to start.

Step 3: Land directly on the Checks tab with the action pre-selected​

When the link is opened, the plant details load and the Checks tab automatically receives the requested action, so you can immediately begin setting a schedule or recording evidence for the selected plant.

Step 4: Continue with your checks workflow​

Complete the scheduling or evidence recording on the Checks tab; once the action has been picked up, the URL is cleaned so the action is not repeated if you refresh or share the page.
