Monitor plant status board
View a live, traffic-light overview of all plant items on a project, including status, checks and recent defects.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the plant status board
Navigate to the Plant Status Board page for your selected project to see a list of all plant workspace items on site.

Step 2: Review traffic-light status for each plant item
Scan the list to see each plant item's status badge, with colours showing Checked, Defect, Action required, Pending or Paused so you can quickly spot issues.

Step 3: Check when each plant item was last updated
Look at the relative time information (for example "checked 12 minutes ago") to understand how recent the latest checks or status changes are.

Step 4: Identify items with defects or stop-work issues
Focus on rows marked as Defect or Action required to see which plant has outstanding issues, including any that may prevent use.

Step 5: Track privacy-masked operator details
View operator names in masked form where required by permissions, so you can understand who last checked the plant without revealing full personal details.

Step 6: Keep the board visible during stand-ups
Leave the page open during daily stand-up meetings; it will auto-refresh every minute so the statuses and defect feed stay up to date without manual reloading.

Step 7: Open the defect feed panel
Use the on-page defect feed to drill into recent or critical defects for specific plant items directly from the status board.

Step 8: Generate a plant register document
Use the register generation action to create an up-to-date plant register document based on the items and statuses shown on the board.

Step 9: Preview the plant register
Open the plant register preview dialog to review the generated register, confirm the contents and prepare it for distribution or printing.

Step 10: Print QR codes in bulk
Open the bulk QR print dialog, select the plant items you need, and print QR labels so operators can scan to access checks and details on site.

Step 11: Refresh and interact with individual rows
Click on a plant row or use quick actions to view more detail or jump to related workflows while the board continues to auto-poll in the background.
