Manage plant checks from shared links

Use special links to open a plant and automatically jump into creating schedules or recording evidence on the Checks tab.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

When you open a shared link that includes an action parameter (for example a link sent from Inspections Due or another area), the plant details page loads with the Checks tab ready to process that action.

Step 2: Automatically start creating a check schedule​

If the link was created to "set_schedule", the Checks tab automatically opens prepared to create a new schedule for the selected plant, so you can review details and confirm the schedule without extra navigation.

Step 3: Automatically start recording check evidence​

If the link was created to "record_evidence", the Checks tab opens with the plant context already set so you can immediately record the required evidence against the relevant checks.

Step 4: Continue managing the plant after the action is used​

Once the automatic action has been started, the deep link parameter is cleared in the background, allowing you to keep working on other tabs and actions for the same plant without the action re-triggering.
