Review task details and manage comments
Review key task information, collaborate through comments, and share or update the task directly from the task detail panel.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the task detail panel
Select a task from the calendar or task list to open its detail panel, showing the task title, status, priority, and key metadata on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Review task status and schedule
In the Details view, review the task status, due date, start time, and related timing information displayed with calendar and clock icons, so you can understand when the work is planned and how urgent it is.

Step 3: Check assignee and task ownership
Use the User section to see who is assigned to the task and whether it is automated or owned by a specific team member, helping you confirm responsibility before you make any changes.

Step 4: Review task tags and priority
Look at the tags and priority labels, including Low, Medium, High, or Urgent with the flag icon, to quickly gauge how important the task is and how it is categorised.

Step 5: View task history and recent updates
Switch to the History view to see a timeline of previous updates, including status changes and edits, so you can understand what has changed and when.

Step 6: Open the comments view
Select the Comments view, indicated by the speech bubble icon, to see the full discussion thread for the task, including comments from team members and the system bot where available.

Step 7: Add a new comment
Type your message into the comment text area and select the Send button to post a new comment, allowing you to share updates, ask questions, or clarify requirements with your team.

Step 8: Edit an existing comment
Use the Edit control next to your own comment to update its text and select Save, so you can correct mistakes or refine your message without adding extra noise to the thread.

Step 9: Delete a comment you no longer need
Select the Delete icon on one of your comments and confirm in the dialog to permanently remove it from the discussion when it is no longer relevant or was added by mistake.

Step 10: Share the task with another user
Use the Share control in the panel header to generate and send a share action for the task, allowing colleagues or stakeholders to open the same task view and stay aligned.

Step 11: Open related documents from the task
Select any available related document link or document icon within the panel to open the associated file or record, giving you quick access to supporting context while reviewing the task.
